VEREENIGING. – Police Spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda confirms that one culprit has been arrested by Vereeniging Police for selling drugs at the Vereeniging taxi rank.

“Our police officers were doing a high density operation when they received an intelligence of someone selling drugs at the taxi rank in Vereeniging.”

Funda adds that upon searching the particular spot, the suspect was found and his stall was searched. “Two plastics full of small zips of dagga with the street value of R5000 were found”

In total, 28 people in total were arrested for various crimes. all the arrested persons will appear in the Vereeniging Magistrate Court soon.
