Vehicle t-bones another injuring three

VANDERBIJLPARK. - ER24 reports that three people were injured this morning, one seriously, after a vehicle t-boned another at the R42 and Frikkie Meyer Road intersection in Vanderbijlpark.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found one vehicle lying on its roof on the side of the road while the second vehicle was in the middle of the intersection.On closer inspection, paramedics found a woman, believed to be in her 50s, lying trapped in the overturned while two others were found walking around on the scene.

Rescue services had to use the jaws-of-life to free the woman from the vehicle. Once freed, paramedics found that the woman was in a serious condition while the two other patients had sustained only minor injuries.Paramedics treated the patients and provided the serious injured patient with advanced life support interventions.

Once treated, the patients were transported to Sebokeng Hospital for urgent treatment.It is understood that one vehicle apparent skipped the traffic light, t-boning the other vehicle and causing it to roll.

Local authorities were on scene to investigate further.
