Say no to drugs
“My hope is to get all young people involved in this movement. Local municipalities can be directly involved too, so all Vaal residents can realise how serious this issue is. I feel we have a serious problem at hand and we are doing nothing about it. This is the time we boldly say #NoToDrugs.”
VEREENIGING.-27-year-old hip-hop artist Lerato Seransa popularly known as ‘Super’ recently recorded and released a single titled #NoToDrugs. On the song, Supa featured another talented artist named Noxman.
According to Supa, the song is aimed at aggressively combating the excessive abuse of drugs in the Vaal communities. “The song speaks directly to the drug consumers, warning them on how this may negatively impact their lives. It also highlights that if they do stop taking drugs and become positive, their lives can be a whole lot better.”
Supa states this is a perfect time for communities to hold hands and fight the use of drugs in the community. “Normally stats show that people involved in serious crimes, would be on heavy substance during the act. Perpetrators believe that drugs make them fearless and is a problem solver, but that is untrue.”
He hopes that the community will embark on a #StopDrugsCampaign.
