VANDERBIJLPARK. –   Police spokesperson sergeant Gertrude Makhale confirms that  a 29 year old suspect was arrested today for the murder of 21-year- old  student Jabulile Nhlapo. Nhlapo was shot and killed in cold blood on Tuesday afternoon at a student residence in Vanderbijlpark.

“The suspect is alleged to be the Ex-boyfriend of the deceased, and the firearm recovered.  The Station Commander Brigadier Nikiwe Hoaeane would  like to applaud the  officers involved for not sleeping and ensuring that the perpetrator is arrested  within a  period of 48 hours.”

Hoaeane  says, “A job well done by our detective officers, this shows that the community of Vanderbijlpark and killings of young women will not be in vain.”
