SEDIBENG.-  Vaal born and reigning Miss United Nations Africa 2018, Vinolia Mabele was recently crowned the Miss United Nations International 2018/19 at the grand finale that was held at the classic Zoetic Theatre in Hamilton, Canada.

The competition had 18 queens from different continents and countries amongst others the USA, South Asia, UK, Singapore and India. The pageant focuses on volunteer work and each contestant must have a background in volunteer work for their community. Mabele is a well known community builder and her work is spread all over Sedibeng as she runs an organization called Face of Mzansi which aims to empower girl children and young women in education and entrepreneurship .

Earlier this year Mabele received the Gauteng Premiers’ Women of Excellence Award in the category of Community Development. The stunning Mabele is also an actress, an MC and a radio presenter. She aims to use her reign to continue developing communities and touching lives , at an international level.
