VEREENIGING. – Russel Meiring, Spokesperson for ER24 reported that a taxi driver was left seriously injured this morning, Tuesday 12 February, when his vehicle crashed into a wall on Langerland Road in Sonlandpark.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 07:27 to find the taxi on the side of the road against a precast fence. The taxi driver was found lying outside his vehicle.
Paramedics quickly assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition. The man was treated for his injuries and was provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
