Sedibeng K9 arrest suspect for dealing in drugs

DOBSONVILLE. –  On Friday 15 February at 08:15, Sedibeng K9 members arrested a suspect for possession and dealing with drugs.

The incident happened in one of the houses in Block 7 Snake Park, Dobsonville. Warrant Officer Juanita Rost and Warrant Officer Jacques Van Rooyen were on duty when they embarked on searching the house. With the help from some of the community, they managed to respond to the outcry of the community about the dealings that were happening in the address. Upon arrival at the address, the suspect was found hiding in the shack in the yard of the next-door neighbour.

Narcotic dogs Brik and Max were used for the search. Both dogs reacted positively, 53 packets of nyaope hidden in a self-made hole (hiding) space inside the top door of the fridge were recovered. The suspect was arrested on the scene and detained in Dobsonville SAPS
