Both Banyana and China lost their opening FIFA Women’s World Cup group stage encounter against Spain and Germany respectively and are set to go in to tonight’s encounter with the same mind-set as they look to fight for their first three points.
Banyana-Banyana lost 3-1 to the defending champions Spain in the opening match on Saturday. “I have no doubt that we will win this match even though it is not going to be easy if we play the way we played against Spain on Saturday. The confidence is high in the camp and everyone is looking forward to this encounter and Caster Semenya has boosted the team moral because she is an inspirational to many of them,” she told Sedibeng Ster in an interview on twitter.
