Police urge family of deceased woman to come forward

“The deceased was wearing blue jeans and a brown jersey. Anyone missing a relative fitting the description of the deceased’s clothing must please come forward to claim the body.”

VANDERBIJLPARK. – The police in Vanderbijlpark are investigating a culpable homicide after a woman was allegedy hit by a white Toyota Corolla on the N1 Freeway, Vanderbijlpark1 Off-ramp on February 1st.

Police spokersperson Sergeant Gertrude Makhale  said that no family members had come forward to claim the body of the woman who died on the spot.

“The deceased was wearing blue jeans and a brown jersey. Anyone missing a relative fitting the description of the deceased’s clothing must please come forward to claim the body.”

Makhale also urges anyone who might have been a witness or has information about the culpable homicide to please come forward to make a statement as this can be of assistance with the investigation.
