Warrant Officer Martin Seaman – Communication Officer (Sedibeng Flying Squad)
On Saturday 06 July at about 20:00 Sedibeng K9 Unit members in a joint Operation ‘O kae Molao ‘with Crime Intelligence members followed up information which led to Celani section, Tembisa.
The two Constables Timothy Mohlala and Sampi Motaung proceeded to the address where they managed to identify the house matching the same description. Upon arrival they found one male suspect who said he was the owner of the house taking drugs. Different types of drugs recovered through a thorough search were 30 Mandrax Tablets, four zip log bags of Cat and twenty zip log bags of Crystal Meth.
They further recovered two 9MM live ammunition. The drugs were estimated to the street value of R5000.00. The suspect was arrested immediately on the scene.
Investigation continues.
The suspect aged 35 will be appearing soon at Tembisa Magistrate’s Court facing charges of Possession of Drugs and live ammunition.
