SHARPEVILLE. - Very soon, the Vaal will be the home of high quality models who will shine on world stages, this is according to 43-year-old Mokgautsi Lesotho from MCP Models.

Lesotho is currenty training up and coming models to be the best they can be through the first annual Miss Vuka Pageant that will take place soon.
“The pageant is open to girls aged 16- 23 from all corners of the Vaal with all shapes and sizes. The objective of the event is to groom and train all the girls so that they are able to compete on world stages with the best of the best.”
Lesotho invites all potential models to form part of the pageant as they will receive training on their jouney to becoming the first ever Miss Vuka Sharpeville. The competition is different in that it does not only focus on beauty but personality and how one will be able to make a positive change in today’s society.
“Through this initiative, we are contributing positively to society by taking young girls from the streets and getting them to do something positive with their lives.
Their contracts with our management company will go beyond the competition and we will continue to train them to become proffesional modes. Young ladies from all areas around the Vaal are urged to come in numbers to join the management company and to also take part in the pageant.
