Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Busakwe said competing against 1 500 top free stylists was a great achievement and finishing in top sixteen, a cherry on top. However, Busakwe said it was not easy because he competed against all the champions from different countries.
“I must say, I’m very proud of myself because I was up against the best in the world but was never intimidated. It’s the biggest stage in the world and competing against some of the former soccer stars such as those from the English Premier Soccer League’s (EPL) Manchester United was a dream come true for me. Just imagine a boy from Boipatong finding himself competing with the best of the best in the world. But I must add that I was there to compete, not to admire those guys,” he said.
Busakwe told Sedibeng Ster Sport that he thanks the Sedibeng people for their support and promises them to bring the title home when he competes in Japan next year.
He said that if he wins he will qualify for the Europe 2020 Superball World Football Tournament which is scheduled to take place in Prague, Czech Republic.
