The road that we have travelled has not been a smooth one. Thanks to your support, we have reached the end of the year all in one piece. The time of the year has descended upon us where families come together to celebrate the achievements made over 12 months and to reflect on the challenges faced. It is also the period to open our hearts to those who are less fortunate and cannot enjoy the festivities of the season. The team and I are very thankful that you afforded us the opportunity to become your eyes, ears and somewhere your mouth pieces. The team and I are also full of joy at this time of the year knowing that we have done our best to bring you the best news possible from this region.
We are also delighted that we are going to take some time off, time to reflect and come back energized to once again do what we love most which is bringing you the best of your local news, on point!
Each and every year at Christmas time we must recognize that the real spirit of Christmas is not what we have, it’s about who we are and what we give. Wherever the team and I might have faulted you please bear with us and wherever you felt proud of us please know that in 2020 we shall continue with much renewed strength and nothing, absolutely nothing will stand in front of us to hinder us from being the best. On behalf of the team let me take this opportunity to wish all the people of Emfuleni, our stakeholders, social partners and enemies a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2020. To those that will be driving please do so safely, to those that will be drinking please drink responsibly and to those that will be sleeping around, please, please, please ladies and gentlemen condomise.
See you on the flip side, 2020 here we come!
