Three men injured in a truck rollover

A 19-year-old driver sustained serious injuries in a truck rollover on the R42 in the Loch Vaal suburb of Vanderbijlpark this morning. Two male passengers, a 26-year old and a 39-year-old, who were also in the cab, sustained minor injuries.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 9:25 am to find the truck on it’s roof, the two passengers walking around and the driver lying next to the vehicle. The seriously injured driver was treated using Advanced Life interventions before being taken to Mediclinic Emfuleni for further care. The two passengers were transported through to Johan Heyns Community Health Centre.
The local community police, as well as the South African Police Services, were on the scene for further investigations.
