Health Workers conduct Covid-19 tests and screening in Bophelong

The health workers went door to door with the single purpose of helping the community overcome the virus now commonly known as ‘Corona’ in the township.

SEDIBENG. – The Sedibeng Community Health Workers embarked on a screening and testing operation for Covid-19, Coronavirus, in Bophelong on Friday.

The health workers went door to door with the single purpose of helping the community overcome the virus now commonly known as ‘Corona’ in the township.

The successful exercise saw community members complying with the health workers requests and those who were found to be showing symptoms of the virus were immediately referred to qualified technicians for further tests and referrals where necessary. The Sedibeng Health Department’s Directors,  Mandilakhe Mantlana and Vusi Mbelu, thanked the Ola Supermarket owners for their flexibility in providing a Public Announcement (PA) system and mobile toilets at a short notice.

The operation continues in Bophelong today.
