Level 4: It is life as usual!

This week as I was driving around Sedibeng, I must say it is life as usual in some communities.

Mind you, we haven’t even reached Level 3 or Level 2 of COVID-19 stage but you see people all over the place. Some are without face-masks.  At the same time the number of COVID-19 cases increases every day. What kind of society are we who careless about our lives?

The question is that, are we going to fold our arms and do nothing about this situation? Are we going to pretend as if there are no soccer tournaments that are taking place in communities until one of our families die, where is our UBUTU – BOTHO?

This week it was the same situation with youngsters playing football all over because they say there are bored at home the whole day. The future of this country is going to the dogs if we don’t stop this rot right now. I don’t see football taking place very soon because of our carelessness. What kind of society have we become? How can everyone pass children playing football in the streets,  on the grounds and open spaces as if nothing is happening? We must be ashamed of ourselves!
