Vanderbijlpark Police Station decontaminated

The stations’ operations were conducted from the boardroom in the support service building for the period

VANDERBIJLPARK. – It was back to normality at the Vanderbijlpark Police Station this week, after an officer tested positive for Covid-19 recently.
Provincial Police Spokesperson, Colonel Khweza said both Bophelong and Vanderbijlpark Stations had to be closed to be decontaminated.
The stations’ operations were conducted from the boardroom in the support service building. The officer, who cannot be named as per Covid 19 regulations, was about to join a parade when he received a call to tell him that he had tested positive for Covid-19.
The victim was taken for self-isolation and the department will check-in with the individual’s the officer was in contact with.
