Rethabile’s big hockey dreams
The young Nhlapo said her mission is to become a professional hockey player and represent South Africa at the highest level.
VANDERBIJLPARK. – Rethabile Nhlapo (16) is destined to make a name for herself in hockey.
As one of Carel De Wet School learners who excel in this sport, no doubt, if her determination is anything to go by, she has a great future ahead of her.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, 
Nhlapo said that she started playing hockey at Oliver Lodge Primary School at the age of 9, she was already playing for the school hockey senior team then. Nhlapo said when she finishes matric she wants to further her studies at NWU Vaal and also play for the institute’s hockey team.
Apart from hockey, Nhlapo said she wants to study Graphics Design to work for big corporates in the world.
Her role model is one of the best South African hockey player, Marsha Cox.
