Man hit with a concrete pavement brick dies
A man in Weilersfarm was awaken by noise outside his home only to discover that there was a lifeless body of a man next to his house.
DE DEUR. – The De Deur SAPS police are investigating a murder case after a 35-year-old man was found lying dead on the street in Weilersfarm, De Deur recently.
It is said that on a Saturday morning at around 07:00 a man in Weilersfarm was awaken by noise outside his home only to discover that there was a lifeless body of a man next to his house.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Tshegofatso Maliehe, said that the man immediately called the police.
“On arrival the De Deur SAPS members noticed that the man was hit by a concrete pavement brick on his head as it was found next to him full of blood. The motive behind the killing is not yet known. A murder docket has been opened and is being investigated.”
