The promotion play-offs will see five SAFA regions competing for promotion to the ABC Motsepe League in the new season. The two top teams will be promoted to the ABC Motsepe League at the end of the play-offs.
The teams that will represent their respective regions are Highlands Park (Ekurhuleni), Pimville Cameroon (Johannesburg), Moholoisane (West Rand), Tshwane South College (Tshwane) and NWU Vaal FC (Sedibeng).
Should NWU Vaal FC get promoted this will bring the number of teams to three that are in the ABC Motsepe League from Sedibeng region.
Orange Vaal Professionals FC and FC RESA are the two teams currently campaigning in the league,.
