Mbazo joins Cape Town City

SEDIBENG. –  Boipatong born, Aaron “Mbazo” Mokoena is the latest former Bafana-Bafana player to be involved in coaching. This was after Cape Town City, who campaigns in the Dstv Premier League, appointed him as assistant coach recently. He will be working with Jan Ole Riekerink who coached him during his playing days at Ajax Amsterdam in Holland. Mokoena, who is also a former Bafana-Bafana captain, joins the list of former Bafana Bafana players such as Benni McCarthy and Siyabonga Nomvete who are now coaching in the Dstv Premier Soccer League. To make it interesting, the trio played together from u/20, at u/23 and later Bafana Bafana. Mokoena told Sedibeng Ster that he was delighted about his appointment.
