Maximum points for Vaal Milano

“This is a great start for us because we played 1-1 in our opening match against SUBS FC away from home. “We can only build from this performance going forward.”

VANDERBIJLPARK.- Vaal Milano FC collected maximum points when they beat Vaal Legends (formerly Vaal Stars) 2-0 in the SAFA Sedibeng SAB League match at Shakespeare Stadium in Vanderbijlpark over the weekend.

The score is not a true reflection of the game, as Vaal Milano FC created numerous scoring opportunities which were wasted because of the wrong decision making of their attackers, especially in the final third.

The game went to interval with the home team leading 1-0 after the break, they began where they left off in the first stanza, attacking their opponents from all angles.

Club Chairman Junior Gusha, left the Shakespeare Stadium with his spirits high after his team’s great performance on the day.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Gusha said he was encouraged by his team performance and was full of compliments for his coaching staff for a job well done.

“This is a great start for us because we played 1-1 in our opening match against SUBS FC away from home. “We can only build from this performance going forward,” he said.
