The South African soccer fraternity is disappointed after Safa revealed the new Bafana Bafana coach. 

SEDIBENG.- There are mixed feelings all over the country after SAFA named Belgian Hugo Broos as the new Bafana Bafana coach yesterday.

This is despite the media and public suggested SAFA  appoint Amazulu coach Benni McCarthy. Many were off the opinion that McCarthy would replace Molife Ntseki as Bafana Bafana coach. McCarthy was a favourite after turning Amazulu into a feared side  that is challenging for the DStv Premiership title.

The South African soccer fraternity is disappointed after Safa revealed the new Bafana Bafana coach. Some of the former Bafana Bafana players were also backing McCarthy for the job but it was never be the case. Steve Pienaar was one of the former Bafana Bafana players who raised his hands in support of McCarthy.
