Man’s family sought after suspected hit and run

DE-DEUR. – The Police in De-Deur have launched a culpable homicide case docket after a body of an unknown man in his forties was found on the R82 near Bronk Drive.

It is suspected that the man was knocked by a car which subsequently fled the scene.

Police Spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda says, “The body of the deceased is currently in a government mortuary and we are looking for his next of kin. He was wearing a red jacket, brown trousers, a black and green t-shirt with no shoes.”
