EVATON.-  The Sedibeng SAPS’ District Task Team recently received a tipoff that a couple in Evaton was dealing in drugs .

Police Spokesperson Sergeant, Thembeka Maxambela said that Sergeant Mapontsi together with his team followed on the information and spotted a 38-year-old women who was found in possession of Star Mandrax. “Upon questioning, the women led the police to the house of the boyfriend and on arrival, police found 39-year-old man packing dagga in small amounts. The two suspect were arrested and detained for dealing and possession of drugs. The dagga and mandrax are estimated to the value of R 14000.00”

Suspect will appear in the Vereeniging magistrate court soon.
