SHARPEVILLE.- It was a great day for the development of netball when the local clubs competed in the Sedibeng Revional and Emfuleni Sub-regional Twizza Club Challenge in Sharpeville over the weekend.
These games took place at the Sharpeville Netball Court with VUT Netball Club registering the highest score by beating Minnie Jaquars 81-2.
It was a great performance for ‘The Students’ on the day. In their first game of the day they beat DLSA 41-24. In another game of the day, that produced the second highest goals, Avalon beat Blue Moon 54-24. Tsoelepele Netball Club maintained their lead on the log when they beat Juveniles Netball Club 41-21.
Diphetogo Netball Club produced a five star performance when they beat Bophelong 49-23 in another Sedibeng Regional and Emfuleni Sub-regional Twizza Club Challenge fixture at the same venue over the weekend.
Silver Fern Netball Club defeated DLSA 45-33 while Boipatong beat Blue Moon 35-27.
Avalon Netball Club beat Juveniles Netball Club 43-29. In the men section, Silver Fern Netball Club beat Blue Moon 53-23.
