Bafana Bafana beat Botswana in COSAFA Cup opening match

The Bafana Bafana which compromises of a relatively young team made their intentions clear when they took the game to their opponents in the early stage of the game.

SEDIBENG.- The South African soccer national team, ‘Bafana Bafana’, started their COSAFA CUP campaign on positive note when they beat Botswana 1-0 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, in Qheberha (Port Elizabeth) on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bafana Bafana which compromises of a relatively young team made their intentions clear when they took the game to their opponents in the early stage of the game.
They broke their deadlock in the 67th minute with substitution Kagiso Malinga scoring the goal.
Bafana Bafana are expected to begin where they left off against Botswana when they clashe with Eswatini in their next game.
