SThandaza gives back to community

The Standaza Services Projects has been involved in the community projects especially during the hard lockdown.

VANDERBIJLPARK.- The SThandaza Services Projects gave back to the community when they donated face masks and sanitizers to the Nale Football Academy on Thursday. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, the company’s Director, Shirley Themba, said this is part of her company’s social responsibility. Themba said that she was disturbed to see most of the teams that play In the Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) without masks and sanitizers on the day of league matches. She said sanitizers are for  the clubs that will play at the Shakespeare Stadium in Vanderbijlpark. They will use them to sanitize their soccer jerseys to follow COVID-19 regulations and health measures. The SThandaza Services Projects has been involved in the community projects especially during the hard lockdown. “I’m very passionate about sports and I know the development football teams don’t have sponsorship and they can’t afford to buy masks and sanitizers for their players, so as the SThandaza Services Projects we decided to donate these basics.  It must be our responsibility to help in fighting this pandemic for the safety of our children. We also intend to buy them temperature screening equipment. For us it is not only about making money but also giving back to our community,” concluded Themba.
