Families’ sewerage horror

“Perhaps when they see our plight in the newspaper they will help us, we have run out of ideas."

SEBOKENG.- It is now going to the second year that the Maseli family from Zone 10 Extension one in Sebokeng have had to bear living inside sewerage that is all over their yard.

Despite having reported this disgusting matter to one senior opposition party members, their local Ward Councillor, and a lot of promises thereafter, nothing has been done. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, family member, Thabo Maseli, said that they reported the matter to their former Ward Councillor before the last local government elections, and recently to the new Ward Councillor and nothing has been done.

Maseli adds that the Metsi-a-Lekoa personnel have been to their home to try to fix the situation, without much luck.
“Perhaps when they see our plight in the newspaper they will help us, we have run out of ideas,” said Maseli.
