SEDIBENG.- The Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) launched the ‘Friday Cleanup Campaign’ aimed at restoring the beauty of the Vaal last Friday. The MMC for Environmental Management and Planning Jones Radebe launched the campaign jointly with the Executive Mayor, Sipho Radebe, the Speaker of Council, Sibongile Soxuza, and the Municipal Manager (MM) Lucky Leseane. With a little over 40 days in office, the new administration is said to be hitting the ground running with a commitment to turn the Municipality around by improving service delivery and making Emfuleni a Municipality of choice once more.
