“I really need some help here. There is an orphanage in Meyerton which has four dogs and three cats. I must get them sterilized as soon as possible as finding homes for the kittens and pups has become a nightmare that I can’t wake up from,” says Ron.
He now plans to sell a guitar that has a lot of nostalgic value to him in order to pay for the sterilizations.
“I have this Yamaha 410 AE acoustic/electric guitar that once belonged to my father and is over 40 years old. It was the only item I could save when my house burnt down two years ago. It is in immaculate condition and comes with the original hard case. The case is a little battered as it has been used all over the world and was last used at the Millennium celebrations in Amsterdam in 2000,” says Ron.
This would be of special interest to a vintage guitar collector and Ron wants R3 500 for it, which will exactly cover the cost of sterilizing those seven animals.
