Police meet community Forums

“The other issue that was of serious concern to discuss was to make sure that they are not selling alcohol to children under the age of 18 years."

EVATON.- The Evaton Police met liquor forums and secondhand goods distributors at the Mafatsane Community Hall in Evaton recently.

Police Spokesperson, Thulisile Msibi said that the aim of the meeting was to remind the liquor forums in Sector 1 that they need to adhere to trading hours adding that this will make sure that they play their part in avoiding crimes happening in the area.

“The other issue that was of serious concern to discuss was to make sure that they are not selling alcohol to children under the age of 18 years and that the community must not sit with minor children at the Tavern’s, and should that happen, the owner of the Tavern must chase such people away or else their liquor license will be cancelled.”
