SILO Institute of Love celebrates 17th Anniversary

They were celebrating and giving thanks to God who made it possible for them to be still standing until this day without any sponsor/funding.

SEBOKENG.- The  SILO Institute Of Love celebrated its 17th Anniversary over the weekend in Sebokeng.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, the founder of this SILO Maria “Mama Silo” Molefi (66) said they were celebrating and giving thanks to God who made it possible for them to be still standing until this day without any sponsor/funding. She believes God gave them strength not to give up  their task to help those who are in need within the communities of Sebokeng and surrounding areas.

“Mama Silo” as she affectionately called by the community is passionate about helping the community with her pension money. The organisation is able to offer different skills, counselling to the devastated, affected and infected mankind from drugs addicts, gender based abused, mentally disturbed child headed families.

“For the past sixteen years through God and selflessness of SILO Team took from our pension funds and children grands to sustain all these projects. We say Ebenezer to our Lord God who has been with us. God is love and Love is God, and you can’t separate them.  This is our calling from God to help those who are indeed in our communities.”
