VANDERBIJLPARK. The Sedibeng Distict Municipality (SDM) MMC for Transport and Infrustrature together with the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) MMC for Waste Infrastructure and Recreation handed over the list of the 31 roads that needs to be given attention to the Gauteng MEC for Public Roads, Jacob Mamabolo last week.

The list was handed to Mamabolo at R42 commonly known ‘Mabulala’ road on 17 March.

ELM MMC, Nkosinathi Ndwandwe said that the government will spend almost R179 million to rehabilitate the roads that include Mandela road, Thabo Mbeki road and road known as Paving between Extension 1, 6 and 7 in Bophelong.
