MEYERTON. – The incident happened last week Friday on Johan Le Roux next to the licence department.

Police spokesperson Constable Tlaleng Moloi reports that police were called to the scene at 11:00.

“On arrival, police found the body of the deceased lying on the ground. Emergency Services declared the man dead.”

Moloi states that the motive behind the shooting is still unknown.

“No suspects have been arrested and police are appealing to anyone who has information or knows the suspects involved in this incident to come forward.”
