Carel de Wet hosts Winter Ball games
It was a hive of activities when Sedibeng West and East District schools battled it out in the Regional Winter Ball Games at Carel De Wet High School in Vanderbijlpark over the weekend.
VANDERBIJLPARK.- The sporting code that formed part of this activities were volleyball, boys and girls’ soccer and netball to mention but few. It was action galore for the whole day with the prize ceremony taking place at the end of the games.
Apart from winners, the selected squad was also announced at the end of the game for those who will represent this region at the Provincial Winter Ball Games.
The schools that were participating came from as far as from Heidelberg, Meyerton, Evaton, Sebokeng, Sharpeville, Boipatong, Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark and sorrounding rural schools.
