DE DEUR. – Police Spokesperson Sergeant Maria Letsele reports that SAPS members were alerted by members of the community following the discovery of the woman’s body in the veld.
“On arrival at the scene, police were informed by a passerby that he was told by members of the community about the body and decided to inform the police.
“The man then pointed out the scene to the police.”
Letsele states that the body was found lying on the gravel road next to a Ford Ranger Bakkie which was stripped off its tyres.
“The police have opened a murder case docket for investigation.
“The motive for the murder is not known at the moment.
