Motupeng represents Sedibeng at National School’s Hockey tournament
Local learner, Reitumetse Motupeng (16) was part of the Gauteng Hockey team that participated in the National School Hockey Tournament held at Hoerskool Nelspruit in Mbombela recently.

SEBOKENG.- This Suiderlig High School learner was the only hockey player from Sedibeng to participate in this tournament.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Motupeng said that it was a great experience for her to participate in this tournament. She said that playing against the best in the country will help to improve her game. Apart from playing hockey, Motupeng is a multi-talented individual who also plays netball for the Lekoa Sports Academy Netball Club.

“It was not easy because we were playing against the best hockey schools from all the provinces but as an individual it was a great experience to be part of the tournament. I learned so much about competitive hockey and what it takes to be able to be a professional hockey player. My long term goal is to represent my country at the highest level. I have no doubt that I can achieve this both with netball and hockey because I’m very passionate about both sporting codes,” she said.
