BOPHELONG.- The school has been under renovation for approximately six weeks now, and when the schools opened on Tuesday the construction was still continuing. Angry parents wrote a petition to the Department of Education in the Sedibeng District demanding the school be furnished with 12 mobile classrooms that they were promised while the school is being renovated.

The meeting between both parents, school management and the Head of the Department of Education in the Sedibeng District resulted with the school being closed this week until Monday.  One of the School Governing Body (SGB) members said that they also worried about the education of their children, but that their safety came first.
