“We want to thank the Sebokeng community for coming in big numbers to support this initiative to celebrate the women who contributed to the development of sport in this country. This tournament was to acknowledge all women in South Africa for their bravery. There is a saying that : “WShere there is a woman, there is a magic”. and we can’t ignore the role that women play in our sports in this country.

“Look, history is there for everyone to see that women have contributed a lot when it comes to the development of sports in this country. I want to thank the community for making this tournament a success and our partner Emfuleni Local Municipality Sports Department. We all know that boxing is one of the sporting activities that is popular in Sedibeng and as Future Champs Sporting Club we are committed to reviving boxing in this region. We want to see boxing going back to old days,” he said.
