Regional CEO and League Coordinator suspended or stepped aside?

Sedibeng Ster Sport has learned that that Safa Sedibeng Regional CEO and Regional League Coordinator, Beauty Molise and Mandla Dipanyakga have been suspended pending the outcome of investigations.

SEDIBENG.-  Sedibeng Ster Sport was told Safa Sedibeng President Solly Mkhabela, informed the the SAB League teams during a meeting that the two have been “suspended” until further notice.

The suspension of Molise and Dipanyekga follows an Arbitration outcome to declared Safa Sedibeng SAB League null and void. The suspension of the two also follows Mkhabela’s interview with Metro FM Sports Show where he declared that “heads are going to roll”. When Sedibeng Ster Sport contacted Safa Sedibeng Regional Leagues Coordinator, Mandla Dipanyekga about the suspension he said that he has stepped aside until investigation processes are completed. On the other hands, Safa Sedibeng Regional CEO, Beauty Molise told Sedibeng Ster Sport that she has not received any letter of suspension. She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that she can’t comment because she has not received any correspondence from the region.

The SAB League teams club owners who attended the meeting told Sedibeng Ster Sport that they are not convinced that these two have been suspended. They told Sedibeng Ster Sport this is just to a PR exercise from Mkhabela.

“The President gave us the impression that the two have been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation but to be realistic we don’t believe this because for years the SAB League has been run like a “cheap product”. We all know that these two will be back in a short space of time to run our league again. It will be foolish of us to believe the President when he said that the two have been suspended until investigations are completed. We can tell you now that the two will be back in no time and we will be told they were not found guilty. We are worried as  clubs because the same situation will repeat itself, but differently. Some of us are even thinking of selling our statuses because we are demotivated to carry on with this league. We played for the whole season and only to find that we were playing for nothing,” said the club owners who attended the meeting.

Sedibeng Ster Sport’s several attempts to get hold of Mkhabela for comment were unsuccessful at the time of going to print.
