Basadi Operation yields successes
The women in the South African Police Services (SAPS) recently showed that they are equal to the task, when they are called to do their duties.
SEDIBENG.- The ‘women in blue’of the Sedibeng District conducted an operation at WeighBridge N3 Heidelburg during the week.
The operation had different groups and one of the group was roadblocks where they searched vehicles and people. In all, the women managed to arrest more than 20 suspects for various crimes such as illegal Immigrants, those selling Liqour without licenses, assault GBH suspects, and they also issued ticket fines to motorists.
