Boipatong SAPS uses Casual Day to educate members

Members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Boipatong recently used Casual Day to educate and empower members about various matters.

BOIPATONG. -Police Spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela reports that the day, which honours people with disabilities was this year utilized to teach members about finances, mental health and overall healthy living.

Maxambela says, ” Our Employee Health and Wellness(EHW) together with financial sector agents, health care agents including our local NGO brought their services to members.

“Those who took part in the various workshops gathered a lot of knowledge on various matters and were further advised to be money savvy.”

Maxambela states that others allowed health practitioners to conduct various tests and also received their Covid-19 vaccination booster.

“The SAPS embraces employees and community members with disabilities this Casual Day and beyond,” Maxambela concludes.
