Snakes watch Pooe Festive Soccer Tournament

The games continued without any harm, to anyone.

SEDIBENG.- Soccer fans have brought snakes to watch the currently underway Pooe Festive Soccer Tournament in Evaton.

It seems, however, that spectators are used to the snakes as this is said to be a yearly spectacle by the owners of the snakes who amuse the fans. The spectators were seen enjoying themselves at the sight of the snakes, as their owners took them out of their box.

Sedibeng Ster could not establish with experts (authorities) what kind of snakes they are and if what their owners were doing was not dangerous. The snakes were let out of the enclosure, while the games were taking place, seemingly for them to also catch a glimpse of the games, and fans seemed not bothered.

Tournament organisers also seemed not bothered by the snakes. Some of the soccer fans who attend the yearly event and know about the snakes told Sedibeng Ster that the snakes are harmless and that they are not the kinds that are poisonous.
