“Vaal comedy merchants is an entity that runs the comedy show hosted annually in the region. This event serves as one of Vaal’s tourism attraction events as it manages to bring scores of comedians from all over the world to the Vaal,” he said.

“Our objective is very simple, ours is to deliver proper standup comedy to the people of the Vaal. We also aim at developing local comedians to greater heights through the same platform and more importantly showcase the talent the Vaal region has in the comedy fraternity,” he said.

Zakhele Zicco Sithole said “People can expect their muscles to be moving a lot from our jokes, not mine alone. A great time and a better way to release stress is laughter, people come and enjoy their monies.”

Tieho Khakhau shared his excitement to be featured in the event.

“I’m just excited about the show and really looking forward to it. The Vaal region has become home to me as a Free State comedian. People can expect nothing but fun and lots of fun,” he said.

Phasha said “As someone who performs all across Southern Africa, Vaal has some of the best audiences to perform to. I always look forward to coming because I know they are going to give the best energy and it’s going to be too magical.”
