Vereeniging community guards their town

The volunteer patrollers were thanked for a job well done.

VEREENIGING. – Due to the rise in crime the Vereeniging community recently took it upon themselves to patrol their streets.

Under the leadership of Zimele Community Movement, a registered Non-Profit Organisation, the patroller’s retrieved dangerous weapons and sachets believed to be drugs.

The volunteer patrollers were thanked for a job well done as the Vereeniging town has recently seen a spike in crime and house robberies.
