Local Arts Transformation Festival (LATF) for artists in the Vaal

"Invention Productions continues to unite and provide a platform for local artists."

EVATON.-  Invention Productions will be hosting its second Annual Local Arts Transformation Festival (LATF) in September.

The festival, which will be showcasing different art forms will be held at the Wilberforce Community College (Bonner Hall) in Evaton on 9 September.

Invention Productions Director, Tshibollo Ramaisa from Evaton North said that the Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), had its first festival earlier this year, providing a platform for artists and groups in the Vaal in all art forms such as dance, drama, visual arts, poetry, and fashion.

Ramaisa, a graduate of the Tshwane University of Technology, is also the Secretary of Sedibeng Community Arts Centres.

“I would like to take this moment to also introduce myself, I am a professional dance teacher and the Secretary of Community Arts Centres in the Vaal region. Having said that I am aiming and hoping to reach more young people in the Vaal. Invention Productions continues to unite and provide a platform for local artists,” he said.
