Lekoa FM presenter nominated for SATMA award

VEREENIGING.- Lekoa FM’s Thapelo “Sutata” Tahleho is in the running to win an award at South African Traditional Music Awards (SATMA) 2023.


The presenter of a cultural music show that he hosts every Saturday from 9:00 to 12:00 called ‘Mmino le Botjhaba’ has been nominated in the category of Best Traditional Music Community Radio Presenter.

Nominations were announced on Saturday 30 September at SABC Radio Park M1 Studios. The SATMA Awards aim is to bring all races and ethnic groups together through the celebration of our diverse musical cultures and also to eliminate tribalism and other divisive measures.

The main event will be hosted at Durban ICC to announce the winners.
