Local model makes Sedibeng proud

"I so wish, and pray, that I will get a sponsor to make my dreams come true."

SEBOKENG.- Phoila Zimbawe hoisted Sedibeng’s flag high when he finished third to become the second Prince in the Mr and Miss Tshwane Regional beauty pageant held in Pretoria on Saturday.

The excited Zimbawe shared this good news with Sedibeng Ster.

Zimbawe will soon go to Spain to represent South Africa in the beauty pageant in November. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Zimbawe said this was the biggest pageant to be held in Pretoria and he was competing against the best in the Tshwane region.

“I was competing against highly talented models in Tshwane and finishing third position and as second prince was a great achievement for me. This was a moral boost ahead of my trip to Spain in November. I so wish and pray that I will get the sponsor to make my dreams come true to go and compete on the international stage.

“I’m appealing to Sedibeng good Samaritans to assist me so that I can go and represent my country in this competition. It is every child’s dream in the community to represent his or her country at this level. I’m not going there for a holiday but to represent my country, especially Sedibeng people,” he said.

Zimbawe told Sedibeng Ster that the Mr and Miss Tshwane Regional beauty pageant was a perfect platform to test his ability on the bigger stage. He said he learned a lot in the competition against the best in Tshwane.
