SEDIBENG.- The newly launched Hollywood Industrial Soccer League which consists of local firms/companies kicked off at Dick Fourie Stadium in Vereeniging Friday and Saturday afternoon.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Klass Mashengwane said the companies that are interested in joining are welcome as they still have five teams’ slots available.

“This was our first game and everything went well with lots of support from all the companies participating. If there are any companies that are interested in being part of this league, they are more than welcome to contact us. There is still space available for five teams because we want a certain number of teams to make this league more interesting.”

Mashengwane said that it is not about winning for them but participating.

“As workers, we keep ourselves fit and healthy. This league is also part of building friendship among the workers through football,” said Mashengwane.
